Mondello
Mondello is a hamlet and a tourist resort nestled between Mount Pellegrino and Mount Gallo, just a few kilometres from Palermo. Detached from the city’s chaos, thanks to the Favorita Park green lung, the seaside village can be reached via many tree-lined royal avenues or secondary connections, by car or by bus.
The area is renowned for its large beach, which represents one of the most coveted shorelines in the Palermo area, thanks to its numerous Liberty-style villas, known as the best expression of Art Nouveau in Italy, and for its sites of historical and naturalistic interest, including access to the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve.
Sports, sea, music and culture. The Gulf of Mondello is the venue for national festivals and events. Among the most famous is the “Windsurf World Festival,” renamed as the “World Festival on the Beach” in 2001, an event that annually brings together various sports events from windsurfing to beach volleyball and musical shows.

Addaura
Addaura is a small seaside village or hamlet of Palermo. It is located southeast of the Mondello beach, situated on the seafront that reaches the city by circumventing Mount Pellegrino.
Characteristics of the place are the different coves overlooking a splendid crystal-clear sea, a tourist harbor with a view of the Gulf of Mondello. The characteristic mountain behind and the panoramic view of the sea make the place a charming seafront ideal for days of sun and relaxation.
Addaura is also a chic destination if you like cocktails and trendy evenings, thanks to the numerous seaside venues that, especially on weekends, offer organized evenings from aperitifs to after-dinner with music and haute cuisine, ideal for tourists and food lovers.
Terrasini
Terrasini fascinates tourists and vacationers with the beauty of its crystal-clear sea. The coastline alternates sandy beaches with rocky cliffs overlooking the sea. The most famous beach in Terrasini is Praiola, a free beach located near the centre of the town characterized by golden sand and gently sloping seabed.
Also suggestive are the Cala Rossa cliffs, named for their colour. They form unspoilt coves, perfect for diving and snorkelling.
Another popular beach is Magaggiari, located in the Cinisi area, where several bars and clubs enliven the nightlife.
Scopello
Scopello is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the province of Trapani. It is located along the northern coast of Sicily, not far from Castellammare del Golfo.
In the surroundings of the small village there are several charming coves and cliffs. One of these is the Tonnara di Scopello, which is located in a nature reserve. Unfortunately, it has become a private beach, so it requires payment for access. The ticket includes access to the sea and a visit to the tuna factory. It is ideal for snorkelling enthusiasts and for all those who love to immerse themselves in a truly breath-taking natural landscape.
In front of the cove, you’ll see the imposing Faraglioni, which can be reached by boat.
A little further south, extends for about 600m the Bay of Guidaloca, a large free pebble beach, lapped by a clear blue sea, served by several bathing establishments and very popular in the summer season.
Along the coast, there are several coves that are less frequented and “wilder”, but that are worth visiting for the beauty of the sea and natural landscape: Cala Rossa, Punta Pispisa, and Cala Mazzo di Sciacca.

Zingaro Nature Reserve
It is the stretch of coast that extends from Tonnara di Scopello to San Vito lo Capo. It is the first protected area in Sicily, an unspoiled place that can be visited by trekking along the coast. Zingaro is the ideal place for excursions interspersed with breaks you can spend in one of the many coves along the way. If you love photography, you will definitely spend part of your day taking beautiful pictures.
San Vito Lo Capo
Clear waters, almost no currents, golden sand and a natural setting that promises only moments of relaxation…
The beach of San Vito Lo Capo is nestled between the white houses of the village and the charming promontory of Monte Monaco. A true paradise where nature and Sicilian lifestyle offer unforgettable holidays. An ideal destination for those who want to spend a beach holiday in Sicily, but not only… Natural reserves, artistic beauty and unmistakable Sicilian cuisine are there to tempt you.
It was also made famous by the Cous Cous Fest, the most anticipated international gastronomic event in the Mediterranean – organized for over twenty years in San Vito Lo Capo.
The Cous Cous Fest in San Vito Lo Capo is a journey of taste, through the streets of the Sicilian village, to discover traditions and flavours.
